Event Details

The Evermore Centre is offering a free six-week group for adult adoptees who want to learn more about mental health, want to create connections in the community, and to find a support network to turn to when there are questions regarding the foster and adoption world.

This group is a closed group as we are doing a trial run of our adult adoptee group to see how it goes and so that we can tailor it in the future to meet the needs of members. A closed group is where the members from week one attend regularly all the way to the last week of group to ensure that there is clarity and “flow” with the activities that we complete together.

The facilitator running the group is Geanne Krawchuk from Branches Counselling/The Evermore Centre in Saskatoon. Geanne has experience with assisting those who experience depression, anxiety, anger, but also with the adoption world in Saskatchewan. Geanne has experience working with birth parents, adoptive parents, adoptees, and those connected to the adoption world from her various roles working at The Evermore Centre.
