A Day for the entire family from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 14 at the Prince Albert Friendship Centre
Registration is encouraged. Registration link to come
Please join us for a day for the entire family, filled with interesting and fun activities!
The morning session will divide the parents/caregivers into one group and the children into another, allowing for open discussion and learning for each. The morning session will focus on understanding the loss accompanied by children who no longer live with their biological parents and how that can manifest in different ways and coping strategies.
Lunch will be provided to socialize and connect with other families.
After lunch, we will start with a session on supporting Indigenous culture and then we will conclude with an Indigenous craft – making dreamcatchers – fun for all ages!
Parents/Caregivers whose children are non-Indigenous are invited to the morning session and are welcome to participate for the entire day!
