What a year; such promise for more

Dec 20, 2019

Greetings from all of us at The Evermore Centre.

As 2019 draws to a close, the board of directors, staff and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. The season provides us with the opportunity to take time out of our full schedules to spend with loved ones, reflect on the year’s activities and begin looking forward to 2020.

The year 2019 was indeed eventful at The Evermore Centre. We have received great feedback on our new logo and website. Check it out at www.adoptionsask.org Let us know what you think. We are still working with Objectified Software on our database system, with hopes of having it fully implemented in the new year.

The Evermore Centre is partnering with CFS Saskatoon, an organization that provides programs and services to individuals, couples and families. Together, The Evermore Centre and CFS plan to pilot a new program in February 2020 that will be of great benefit to newly formed adoptive families, as well as for more seasoned parents of adopted children. Be sure to watch our Facebook page and our website in January for more information on the Building Healthy Families: Post Adoption Support Group.

We hope you found the content in our 2019 newsletters informative. We encourage you to provide us with feedback and ideas you have on topics you’d like to see.

Before ending this message, I thank Rossita and Leah for their dedication and commitment to researching and compiling the newsletter and Bob Florence for his editing skills in making this newsletter come to life.

Wishing you all the joy, hope and wonder of Christmas. We look forward to supporting you in 2020.

Just a reminder that our office is closed for the holidays starting Friday, Dec. 20 at 4:30 p.m. We re-open Thursday, Jan. 2 at 9:30 a.m.
