At The Evermore Centre, we have recognized a need for counselling in our office through our “Your Opinion Matters” survey we sent out a couple months ago. In response, we have partnered with Family Service Saskatoon to provide phone, virtual, and in-person FREE Rapid Access Counselling out of our office at 527 Main Street in Saskatoon.

The Evermore Centre is excited to announce our new fall Youth Program! The program is open to youth who have been touched by adoption or another form of permanency. It will involve completing a life book, art therapy, crafts, healthy habits bingo game, age-appropriate information related to adoption and permanency, and other fun snacks and activities. The purpose of this program is to provide support in a safe environment, and develop a sense of not feeling alone. Caregivers are encouraged to stay and enjoy coffee and socialization in the main sitting area of our office during these scheduled meeting times.

In this workshop, well known diversity and inclusion consultant, Liz Duret, will explore the following: your child's need to learn about their culture and community as part of their identity, and how to deal with racism and the biases that effect Indigenous people daily. This 3-hour workshop provides a safe space to share our fears as well as our hopes and expectations as parents so that our children can flourish and reach their full potential.
