Join us on April 11, 2026, at Rusty Macdonald Library in Saskatoon for Phase 2, a deeper exploration of compassionate care and how lived experiences shape our bodies, minds, and family systems.
The gathering will focus on understanding adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through compassion, relationship, and cultural connection, while strengthening tools for regulation, healing, and reconnection within families. Oaks Mental Health will provide guided learning and workbook materials, with instruction and individual support from a Knowledge Keeper throughout the day. Discussions will focus on deepening understanding through the Oaks Mental Health workbook and group discussions. The day will include facilitated group sessions, support from a Knowledge Keeper, and shared resources that explore how we can connect, support one another, reduce stigma, and ground ourselves in regulation and healthy development.
Presentation Topics include: understanding compassionate care, ACEs, and workbook exploring
Childcare support, tangible resources, and a soft lunch will be provided.
