I would recommend starting with our library – we have full library services with membership that include shipping across Saskatchewan! There are many books to understand the adoption journey For example, Adopting: Sound Choices, Strong Families by Patricia Irwin Johnston.
If you are in Saskatoon, come on in and take a look.
Also, keep an eye on our Events page – we usually host an FASD webinar from the viewpoint of adoption and exploring your range of acceptance. A waiting parent once said that they would now feel more comfortable parenting a child with FASD after attending the workshop!
